Explanation of Bashshar Bin Burd's Poetry

These poems which Mohammad Shareef Saleem included to his book namedمجموعة من النظم للحفظ والتسميع were said by Bashshar Bin Burd in advice, seriousness and social relation.
First of all, I would like to explain those poems that are related to advice and seriousness. After that I will explain those poems which are related to social relation.
In the poems that are related to advice and seriousness the poet wants to tell us the importance of advice and seriousness.

In the first poem, he says: "If you need some days to take advice of someone, then you should not take advice of every simple person. Rather, you must always take advice of a judicious person; because If you take advice of a simple person he may cost you heavy losses, but if you take advice of a judicious person, you will always find him useful and beneficial in every advice that you take from him."

In the second poem, the poet says: "If you need some days to take advice of someone, then don't regard advice disgracing for you; because taking advice will Benefit you a lot and give you strength as secondary feathers give primary feathers strength."

In the third poem, the poet says: the poet is reaffirming by asking questions what he said in the second poem and wants to say that as a single palm can not clap and always needs the second palm, and as a sword without its pommel is not useful for its users, the man also can not do anything properly without taking advice of a judicious person; because the works that are done without taking advice, can not be useful."

In the fourth poem, the poet is advising to leave leisureliness in the works, saying: "leave leisureliness and don't be like weak persons; because leisureliness is the character of the weak people, and don't be neglected that you don't care about accessing your intentions in life, like the man who does not care about achieving his goals while sleeping. Rather, you always have to be awake and try to access your intentions; because the judicious person always prefers to access his intentions rather than sleep."

In the fifth poem, the poet says: "Try to become near to that person who wants to come close to you, and keep yourself away from that person who does not keep matters secret, and don't allow him to sit in the consultative council; because the person who does not keep matters secret, will surely tell your secrets to others."

In the last poem, the poet says: "If you are concerned and worried because you could not be able to achieve something big in your life, then your desires can not drive away your concern, and if you really want to reach to loftiness, then you must do noble deeds; because it is impossible for you to reach to loftiness without noble deeds."
Now I would like to explain those poems that are related to social relation.

The poet says in the first poem that if you are used to blame your friend in all matters, then some days you will have to be alone and without any friend; because no one is among the people who is free of lapses.

In the second poem, the poet says: "if you insist on making friendship with someone who is free of lapses, then live your life alone and keep yourself away from the people, but if you want to live with the people, then you better learn to forgive people and ignore their lapses and mistakes; because If they make mistakes one time, they avoid them another time."

In the third poem, the poet is reaffirming what he said in the last two poems, saying: "as it is not easy for you to always drink pure water, so if you are not satisfied with drinking impure water sometimes, then you will remain thirsty. Likewise, it is easy for you to find people free of lapses, so if you do not forgive people and ignore their lapses, you will remain alone; because there is no one on Earth who is free of lapses.

In the last poem, the poet is reaffirming his talking by asking questions, saying that this kind of people is not there on Earth, and everyone has in them some defects hated by the people. So the noblemen are those who have a very little defects in them; because there are lots of people whose defects can not be counted because of being in a large number.
